Pasang Sherpa took training of both Trekking Guide and Tour Guide from Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management and successfully obtained Grade “A” and Valid Licenses of both Tour Guide of Nepal as well as trekking guide of Nepal. His Trekking Guide License number is 2414-145 and Tour Guide License Number is 2273.Pasang Sherpa has collectively 21 years of Experience in Trekking, Hiking and High Mountain Guide as well as Cultural, religious and City guide in Nepal.
Pasang Sherpa, a popular name in Sherpa community of Nepal. The Meaning of Pasang Sherpa is the person born on Friday commonly named as Pasang. Pasang Sherpa(me) of this website also born on Friday at High altitude of 2600m( 7800 ft) from Sea level, a hilly area of Low Everest region.
Pasang Sherpa has born on 25 December 1978 at Kanku VDC- 9, a Small Isolated Sherpa Village Locally Known as MERA Village (Chyangmiteng in Sherpa Language). This Small Sherpa Village is popular for rich Sherpa cultures and Tradition. Environmentally well deserved Sherpa village- Chayangmiteng offer great experience for trekkers and Volunteers. With hard efforts and united villagers Association, recently we have a unique Buddhist Monastery, Heath Clinic and primary School. This village also facilitate by Electricity and phone communications. This Village is located about 4/5 hrs walking distance from District Headquarter- SALLERI and Domestic Airport- PHAPLU. It is about 35 min flight from Kathmandu (capital city of Nepal) to Phaplu and 4-5 hrs Scenic walk through pine and Famous Rhododendron forest crossing via 3000 m High Ratnange Danda( Hill) from where you can see Panoramic mountain views if weather is permitting. If you have a dream to learn Real Mountain Sherpa cultures, Buddhist religions and life styles of Sherpa’s in Nepal, you are most welcome for short trekking and Hiking trip in Nepal. Regarding my Educational Background and career in Tourism of Nepal, I have done 2 years Under Graduate and 3 years Graduate in Business Management from Tribhuwan University of Kathmandu City and 10 years High School Education from Himalayan Secondary School (Lower part of Everest region). With Instant Ambition, I came to Kathmandu city for the first time in 1995 for my further study in University. So, My Experience in Nepalese Tourism industry has started from early 1995(since 21 years)
